The Salvation Army, Traverse City provides food, nutrition, and fellowship to area individuals and families experiencing hunger through the Community Meal program, Free Food Market, and Food Pantry at the Community Center at 1239 Barlow Street.
Sal's Kitchen is located at our Community Center and provides healthy, nutritious meals at lunch every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Everyone is welcome. DUE TO COVID Restrictions - Community Meals are served To-Go from the Emergency Disaster Services Canteen in the parking lot.
The Food Pantry is now open for walk-in assistance with emergency food baskets on Thursdays from 9:30-11:30 AM and 1-3 PM.
Our FREE Food Market is available Monday and Wednesday from noon - 1 pm in the parking lot at The Salvation Army Community Center, 1239 Barlow St. for all in need. Food is based on available food donations.
