Every day The Salvation Army helps fight hunger through our emergency pantry and produce program.
Hunger is no way to spend childhood. We desire to serve the Kenosha community and fight hunger. Through our Emergency Food Pantry and Produce Program, we are taking steps to ensure that no family goes hungry.
"While women weep, as they do now, I'll fight; while little children go hungry, as they do now, I'll fight; while men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now, I'll fight; while there is a drunkard left, while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I'll fight-I'll fight to the very end!" -William Booth
Our Emergency Food Pantry gives Kenosha County residents the opportunity to receive a variety of a selection of food items (both perishable and non-perishable) in grocery store style. This allows the individual to choose what they receive without food going to waste. Any Kenosha County resident can utilize our pantry once a month and as long as they register.
