Meet the Need

We believe in people.

How we help

The Salvation Army of Kenosha desires to serve people in Kenosha County through various programs meant to help them overcome emergency situations that lead into the long-term obstacle of homelessness.

Our programs are designed to enable the recipient temporary relief while developing a plan to remain in their home.  The ability to assist is limited to funds available and there must be eligibility requirements in order to apply for assistance.

Assistance is:

  • only available to residents of Kenosha County registered with our office.  If outside Kenosha County, please contact your local corps.
  • distributed on a first come, first serve basis
  • limited to funds available
  • available only by appointment.  You must meet with our Case Manager before receiving assistance.

Eligibility Requirements - you MUST:

  • be a resident of Kenosha County registered with our office.
  • have a valid ID
  • have a current utility bill (& rental agreement if looking for rental assistance)
  • be less than 3 months behind
  • have a plan to continue future payments
  • have a 5-day eviction notice (if looking for rental assistance)
  • available only by appointment.  You must meet with our Case Manager before receiving assistance.
