Salvation Army Volunteer Recognized by Chicago Tribune

Mar 7, 2017

Dedicated volunteer, Amanda Marino, donates her time with The Salvation Army Norridge Citadel - earning her a Community Star Award from the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce this year.

Amanda says she loves volunteering her time with The Salvation Army because she believes in what the organization stands for and the high percentage of donations that go directly to assisting others.

Amanda's parent's once told her:

"If you can make a difference, even if it's not a monetary donation, you should try to make that difference."
