Every day The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by providing nutritious meals to neighbors in need.
How we help cure hunger
Food Shelf
Our Food Shelf offers a wide range of groceries, allowing individuals and families in need to stretch their budgets. Food boxes may include shelf-stable pantry items, breads, cereals, meat and other household necessities. Fresh produce is also made available.
The Food Shelf is available to guests to select the foods that best meet their tastes and needs. A variety of “culturally sensitive food items are available.
Rescue Food
Anyone in need of food can pick up a one-to-two-day supply of food through our Rescue Food distribution. This is a “walk-up” service with no interview required. Guests are able to select the foods that best meet their emergency needs. Rescue Food distribution is on Friday from 10:00am to 11:00am.
Daily Hot Lunch
We serve a hot meal at our worship and service center over the lunch hour Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:45am to 12:45pm. All are welcome to attend.
The Food Shelf requires a short interview and is available on Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
