How we help empower youth

Pathway of Hope

The Salvation Army's Pathway of Hope initiative provides individualized services to families with children who desire to take action to break the cycle of crisis and vulnerability that repeats generation after generation. It seeks to address the root causes of poverty. By helping families overcome challenges like unemployment, unstable housing, and lack of education, we can lead families down a path toward increased stability and, ultimately, self-sufficiency.

Youth Activities/Youth Band

Youth Activities at The Salvation Army of Owosso are every Thursday from 2:45 pm to 5:15 pm. These include character building activities, biblical education, fun activities, meals, and other events. Please call (989) 725-7485 to get your child signed up! We do pick ups from Owosso middle school and high school. We do our pickups by the flagpole.

Owosso Middle School is located at 219 N Water St, Owosso, MI 48867

Owosso High School is located at 765 E North St, Owosso, MI 48867

Band Ministry

Our Corps uses a variety of musical genres in the Sunday morning worship experience. Anyone interested in participating or learning music will easily find instruction and fellowship with all of our groups. There is a band and worship team ready to welcome you! Students at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels are more than welcome to join. Band activities are held Thursdays from 4-6 pm. Call 989-725-7485 for more information.
