The Salvation Army strives to make a difference in our community.

Our focus is to meet the needs of families in our community.  We do this by having after school options for working parents, providing excellent character building and music instruction, holding a variety of athletic options for kids which will teach teamwork and how to get active.  We also know hard times come to us all, and we have resources to assist with housing payments, utilities, and food.

What The Salvation Army does can be summed up in a three-fold focus:

Soup | We focus on basic needs for everyone, without discrimination
Soap | We focus on developing people emotionally, socially, relationally, and spiritually
Salvation | We focus on reaching people for Christ

Family Resource Center

Whether you want a safe place for your children so they can be involved in positive activities, want to find a church you can call home, need short-term assistance to help get you through a tight month, long-term guidance to walk alongside with you to get out of the rut you feel like you are in, or a venue to host your next special event (family gatherings, birthday parties, baby showers, wedding showers, etc.), we've got you covered.
