Hunger Hurts. You Can Help.

We battle hunger by providing nutritious meals and food to neighbors in need.

Be a Food Volunteer

In Waukesha County we annually:

  • Serve 16,000 free, hot meals annually in our 3/evenings per week community meal program
  • Giveaway 50,000 loaves of bread from our free bread room
  • Provide 5,000 meals to school families for the weekends
  • Distribute 7,000 sack lunches to hungry families in our summer feeding program

How we fight hunger in waukesha county

Community Meal Program -- Three nights each week

  • Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings, serving from 5:00 p.m. - 5:40 p.m.

Feed The Kids Program - Monday - Friday all Summer long
Location: Sentinel Park (Madera Street) | 12:05 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. 

Donations of peanut butter and jelly, and individual size snacks/lunch items, brown paper lunch bags and single-serve drinks for kids are always welcome.  

Food Pantry

  • Food distribution hours:
    • Tuesdays & Wednesdays 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
    • Fridays 9 a.m. - Noon
  • The food pantry is at the double red doors off our rear parking lot at 445 Madison Street, Waukesha, 53188.
  • If not registered, simply bring along your government-issue photo ID and a piece of recently received mail.
  • If providing for a family, simply bring along your child's birth certificate.

Help the Food Pantry

  • Your gifts to the food pantry can be purchased online and delivered to us via the Wal-Mart Registry for Good
  • Once the COVID restrictions are lifted, your grocery gifts may be dropped off Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. 
  • Church, business, scout troop, civic organization, school food drives welcome and appreciated!
