Smiles Make the Greatest Gifts

Providing physical needs such as grocery, utility and gift assistance,
to emotional experiences including holiday events and traditions.

The Salvation Army's mission shines brightest at Christmas.

The Salvation Army celebrates the birth of Christ by spreading His hope, love and joy to less fortunate members of our community. In fact, our gift-giving programs and fundraising initiatives are a direct answer to God's calling to care for the poor, hungry, sick, and displaced. From physical needs such as grocery, utility and gift assistance, to emotional experiences including holiday events and traditions, to spiritual guidance that provides healing and hope, we work to assist the whole person through gifts that serve the body, mind and soul.

HOLIDAY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

Each year The Salvation Army of Petoskey Corps provides holiday assistance to individuals, families and seniors of Emmet, Charlevoix and Antrim Counties. Everyone deserves to have food and comfort and know that they are loved. Our hope is that those we help will see the love of Jesus Christ through our actions. No one should be forgotten during the holidays no matter what age they are. If you or someone you know needs help, please check our event listings or call us during regular business hours at (231) 347-3531.

To apply for assistance, simply click on the link below and complete the form. After your application is processed, you will receive an email to request any additional information needed or to provide instructions on what to do next.

You can sign up for both Thanksgiving and Christmas assistance using the same online form (you only need to sign up once).
