How we help disaster survivors

Disasters of incredible magnitude call for people of incredible generosity.

The Salvation Army of La Crosse County has an Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) Canteen Truck at its disposal that provides assistance to those experiencing troubling times.  Our EDS team has responded to floods, fires, and other natural disasters within the county to help those displaced in these troubling times.

The Salvation Army works with local emergency service agencies to determine EDS deployment and services provided.

Those that would like to volunteer in EDS must pass specific and detailed training. For more information on how to volunteer for emergencies, please call us at (608) 782-6126.
