We love because God loved us first

The Salvation Army provides spiritual guidance and service to anyone, in the name of God.

Sharing the word of God

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.

Its message is based on the Bible.

Its ministry is motivated by the love of God.

Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

"The Salvation Army has provided a tremendous opportunity for pastors and/or lay leaders to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the people who reside here for a short time through Pastoral Care. Each and every week teams of two people walk through the building for an hour looking for an opportunity to sit down and make a new acquaintance. Often, if not every time, these are God's appointments. The team listens to the person's story and offers to pray for the needs they have. We try to remember each person's name we talk with from week to week. This along with the listening and prayer lets them know how important and loved they are by The Salvation Army and more importantly, they will know they are loved by God." – Pastoral Care Team
