We believe Kids are Changing the World

A catalyst of hope for our youth

We see kids as a gateway to the future this is why we have been intentional about youth development. We have watched countless young people lives transformed by the love of Jesus because of adults who were committed to their lives.

I love youth group!

I love going to The Salvation Army for Church. I learn more about God is really cool ways in small groups. I also have a ton of friends at club 316 and I am learning to play guitar. I love it!

You may have specific programs or services that apply to multiple ministries. There is no harm in listing these on all applicable ministry landing pages. Consider your audience, who may be looking for immediate help (and make sure they have a way to initiate it).

Fine Arts

The Salvation Army is dedicated to seeing the love of art grow in young people's lives. We believe that not only is music and art vital to the development of young people, but they are universal skills that enrich a child's life and prepares them for a successful future. As a result, we are excited to announce new programs this year! The Salvation Army will be now offering, guitar, bass, and drum lessons for individuals interested in developing new skills. The classes will be offered at a beginner skill level. Dance. will also be offered in three-course levels beginner, intermediate and advanced.

Guitar Lessons will be offered for children of all ages, however, age 8 is the ideal age to start learning guitar. We ask that student provide their own guitar for the lesson. lessons will start at a beginner level and increase in skill level as student show proficiency. Students can expect to learn the anatomy of a guitar, basic major and minor chords, strum patterns, basic music theory appropriate for guitar, and more.

We Are currently accepting applications for the 2019-2020 Fall Semester

Youth Small Groups

We believe kids are changing the world and we want to invest in that world change. We have carefully crafted small groups for kids of all age groups to help them learn the bible in developmentally appropriate and fun ways. This includes interactive videos and lessons. We are sure your kids will grow to love Jesus in small groups!
