"Hungry" is no way to spend childhood

Every day The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by providing nutritious meals to neighbors in need.

We serve an average of 2500 individuals annually.

The Salvation Army Food Pantry is supported through various food drives and donations from the Hunger Task Force.

The Salvation Army's main supplier of food is Hunger Task Force a free and local provider of food to food pantries and meal programs. Hunger Task Force believes that every person has a right to adequate food obtained with dignity. Hunger Task Force works to prevent hunger and malnutrition by providing food to people in need today and by promoting social policies to achieve a hunger-free community tomorrow.

The Oak Creek Centennial Corps Food Pantry

The Salvation Army's food pantry provides a 2-3 day supply of emergency food to neighborhood individuals and families who are hungry. The food is given on the day it is requested and represents breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all members of the household. Those receiving food are also informed about how they can participate in supplemental food programs so they can move beyond visiting charity food pantries.
