The Salvation Army is committed to providing older adults on limited incomes with the finest care and the comfortable living arrangements they deserve. To meet the growing need for safe, affordable housing for seniors in our community, Booth Manor was created.
Booth Manor is a high-quality HUD and WHEDA Subsidized Housing Facility for older adults and the mobility impaired.

How do I qualify?
In order to qualify for Booth I (150 W. Centennial), the head of household must be 62 years of age or older, OR mobility impaired. To qualify for Booth II (180 W. Centennial), the head of household must be 62 years of age or older. This is in accordance with federal housing regulations and your income may not exceed federal income limits.
Where do I apply?
Applications may be picked up at the Booth Manor office, 150 W. Centennial Drive, Oak Creek, WI, (414) 762-2124.
Office hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Please call in advance for an appointment.
What happens after I apply?
Booth Manor staff will verify all information you provide on your application, set up an interview, and conduct reference, criminal, credit, and background checks. Once your application is approved the staff will notify you of the next available apartment.
How much rent will I pay?
Booth Manor is a joint project between The Salvation Army and HUD (Housing and Urban Development). Subsidized housing is available and rent is based on 30% of the head of household's income.
What is included with my apartment rental?
Heat and hot water are included with your apartment rental. Residents are responsible for paying their own electric bill to WE Energies. Optional amenities such as cable TV, telephone, and internet are the responsibility of the resident. Satellites and other outdoor equipment are not permitted
What is the Computer Lab?
The Computer Lab at Booth Manor houses six state-of-the-art computers. Each computer has a large, flat-panel monitor, high-speed internet access, and a photo-quality printer/scanner/copier. The Computer Lab is available to residents 24 hours a day.
What is a Service Coordinator?
The service coordinator program links our residents to needed supportive services thereby extending their stay at Booth Manor. These services will permit residents to continue living independently in their own apartment.
